Intra Oral Camera
At Asquith Dental we use an Intra Oral Camera which helps us to see things more clearly inside your mouth, that way our dentists can diagnose our patients the best possible treatment options. The Intra Oral Camera also allows us to properly educate our patients in a clear and simple manner by actually allowing them to see what it is our dentists see. The camera is moved around the patient's mouth and they can see the video live at the same time on a screen.
Low Dose, Digital Radiographs
Low Dose Digital radiographs use 90% less radiation than standard dental radiographs. In addition the images appear instantly on the computer, allowing us to view and analyse them straight away.
OPG
Orthopantomogram (OPG) is a panoramic dental x-ray of both the upper and lower jaw. It is an invaluable tool in proper diagnosis and treatment planning, because some of the details on the x-ray are not visible on other x-rays and as such provide valuable information to our dentists which can assist in properly diagnosing and treatment planning.
